On 4^th – 6^th February 2026, we proudly sponsored the 28^th Annual Meeting of the British Society of Gastrointestinal and Abdominal Radiology, which took place in Nottingham, UK.

Held at the East Midlands Conference Centre, this year’s event was a classic example of the exemplary research and innovative notions that we have come to expect from these seminars. There was a plethora of educational discussion sessions during the conference where attendees heard about CT Guided Intervention, Imaging the Pregnant Patient with Abdominal Pain, and witnessed the first ever BSGAR Intestinal Ultrasound workshop.

A stand-out this year was the Richard Farrow memorial lecture, led by Professor Richard Bowtell, who had some interesting comments on the future of abdominal MR imaging.

Formed in 1998, the BSGAR annual meeting’s goal is to offer expert insights into complex cases, provide instruction to junior members of BSGAR, and to allow for the social interaction of like-minded individuals to gather and encourage the development of new ideas and initiatives in the field.
