Elective Care

Our Elective Services support the NHS in the delivery of day to day elective reporting through Community Diagnostic Hubs and Outpatient services. Our clients work with 4ways to manage daily volumes, backlogs, 2 week waits and new initiatives such as locally focussed pathways and the implementation of CDHs. We operate a 24 hour FastTrack routine service to help the NHS meet targets, MDT needs and consultant appointments.

There has never been a busier time in the NHS and we will work proactively with you to look at your needs and requirements to agree the best workflows.

 We know that things are constantly changing within imaging departments, so you will be supported by a dedicated UK based Operations Team and Account Manager. We work with all the major RIS and PACS providers to ensure easy integration to the 4ways centralised system.


4ways only engages with UK based GMC Consultant Radiologists, all FRCR and GMC registered. We never outsource our reporting abroad, meaning our reports are written in a language, style and structure that your clinicians are instantly familiar with and no data ever leaves the UK.

To ensure reporting is completed to the highest industry standards, we audit up to 10% of cross sectional reporting and up to 2% of plain film. 

Connection to our service is rapid and free of charge, all you’ll need to provide is the time of your IT staff to support the connection on your side.

Daily Elective Reporting and Backlog Clearance​

Our service is fully scalable and allows you to increase your reporting capacity, adapting to fluctuating volumes and busy periods as needed.

We work with you transparently to look at joint solutions as to how we can best meet your reporting needs.

Implementing Community Diagnostic Hubs

4ways works with a number of NHS Trusts to develop, design and implement reporting procedures and connectivity for new CDHs. We have a range of models that can help to support the implementation of these hubs and increase capacity in the system.


Cancer Services


Our Elective service can be utilised to manage your two week cancer waits. Our clients find this an effective way to ensure they meet national targets and get patients on the right treatment pathway faster.


FastTrack Routine​

We know that trusts often struggle with work prioritisation and meeting the wide range of targets across the trust. 4ways has developed a FastTrack service allowing you to send operationally urgent reports for a 24 hour turnaround. This enables you to help clear urgent backlogs and improve efficacy of MDTs and consultant appointments.
