The British Society of Gastrointestinal and Abdominal Radiology are hosting their 28th annual meeting from February 4th – 6th in Nottingham this year.
Hosted at the East Midlands Conference Centre, 4ways are excited to be attending this year’s event.
BSGAR 2026 is being held over three days, with day one being primarily focused on workshops, where attendees can learn more about Small Bowel Ultrasound, GI Intervention, and Acute Abdominal Imaging. These workshops will include reviewing real cases live, hands-on experience with GI Intervention being practiced on phantoms, and the very first BSGAR Intestinal Ultrasound workshop. With talks covering imaging pregnant patients with abdominal pain and mini workshops on gastrostomy and enteric tube placement, and CT guided intervention, day one of BSGAR will be full of tips and tricks for all junior BSGAR members.
Days two and three will include lectures on benign diseases, unusual tumours, and management for consultants and residents, as well as the Richard Farrow memorial lecture, which this year will be delivered by Professor Richard Bowtell, who will discuss the future of abdominal MR Imaging.
