CT Clinical Lead

Dr Andrew Wright is former Clinical Director of Radiology at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, one of the largest Trusts in the UK. He qualified in Medicine from University College Hospital, London in 1981, and trained in Radiology from 1986 at Guy’s Hospital and then in Newcastle upon Tyne, where he was also a Lecturer. He was appointed in Edinburgh in 1992 to set up a CT service at Western General Hospital using one of the first spiral CT scanners in the UK.  Returning to London in 1998 to St Mary’s Hospital (now part of Imperial College Healthcare), his clinical interests are chest and cardiac CT, CT interventional techniques, CT colonoscopy and oncological radiology. He has published widely on aspects of cross-sectional imaging.
