With a clinical background and qualification in Pharmacy, her experience was gained working within the independent retail pharmacy sector for 12 years where, as well as primary patient care, Alison also headed Business Development for a chain of pharmacies and pharmaceutical wholesaler, implementing medical services within the community in line with local/national initiatives, liaising with PCTs/CCGs, NHS Commissioning Bodies and Private Healthcare.
Alison moved to apply her healthcare management & governance experience, working in the private sector managing one of Harley Street’s premier practices and the UK’s largest centre for sexual and reproductive health, working in partnership with NHS bodies, commissioners and regulators.
With her extensive experience in healthcare management and regulatory affairs, Alison has headed the Operations team since joining 4ways along with the Quality Assurance teams, driving the highest levels of service delivery and quality. Alison is now taking her depth of knowledge of the sector, to lead Clinical Governance and Client Services. Working in conjunction with the Medical Director, Clinical Leadership and Operational Teams to maintain client satisfaction ensuring delivery of quality reporting and a responsive service.
Alison is the Registered Manager for CQC and QSI and Quality Manager for ISO 9001.
