4ways can provide out of hours radiology reporting and urgent cover whenever you require an additional resource, day and night.

out of hours radiology reporting

4ways provides an out of hours and urgent teleradiology reporting service, enabling you to increase your capacity to cope with ever increasing demand.

According to the Royal College of Radiologists – Standards for providing a 24-hour diagnostic radiology service – “Clinical Radiology is now so central to the management of so many patients that its delivery can no longer be confined to ‘office hours'”.

Engaging with 4ways can provide a highly effective out of hours extension to any in-house diagnostics team and provide additional resource so your radiology department can continue to provide the high-quality service out of hours which they already provide in hours.

We have a dedicated clinical lead team for all out of hours radiology reporting requests and a dedicated support team working round the clock to support you.

We provide flexible cover 7 days per week during the night with a 60 minute turnaround time. The mean average turnaround time for out of hours studies is 23 minutes, with 78% of studies reported under 30 minutes.

urgent daytime

4ways urgent daytime reporting service offers additional cover for you during the day. Turnaround times and the period of cover are negotiable, depending on your requirements.

We have a full weekend out of hours service, 24 hours a day from 5pm on a Friday evening until 8am on a Monday morning and bank holidays. Providing day and night radiology reporting support when you need it most.

stroke reporting

We are able to offer a radiology reporting service for patients who have suffered a suspected stroke within a turnaround time of 30 minutes. The mean average turnaround time for stroke reporting is 15 minutes, with 77% of studies reported within 20 minutes or less.

"We have developed a valuable partnership with 4ways to provide a quality CT reporting service outside core hours.  Users across the trust have confidence in the service as report turnaround times are consistently within targets with no disruption to service."

4ways is the only UK based teleradiology provider to offer a polytrauma service. Developed with a major South Coast polytrauma centre, all studies are double-read at the time of reporting to ensure the highest accuracy. Polytrauma studies generally have a turnaround time within 60 minutes.

We offer a triage service as part of our urgent radiology reporting service. At no additional cost, we can ensure direct interaction between the referring clinician and the 4ways reporting radiologist.
