We have further strengthened the resilience and robustness of our core reporting infrastructure to ensure that our tele-radiologists, supported by our IT and technical and operational support teams, can continue to provide the first-class service you are accustomed to receiving. That’s across the full range of services; Routine, Day Time Urgent (DTU), Night Time Urgent (NTU) and Specialties.
Given the current situation, the significance of Day Time Urgent reporting for Covid-19 has increased even more, particularly in the areas of CT Chest and Chest X-Rays. 4ways continues to review and update business continuity plans to maintain operations and proactively manage our service delivery and NHS support during this challenging time.
What have we done?
NHS Client Support – Free of Charge use of 4ways platform for our NHS clients allowing their Radiologists to report Covid-19 Trust activity from home on 4ways systems.
4ways is also providing our expert in-house operational support in administering to this activity through our systems and processes, also Free of Charge.
Radiologists Support – Free of Charge use of 4ways Diagnostic Monitors on Trust equipment.
Covid-19 Clinical Focus – 4ways has adopted the BTSI (British Society of Thoracic Imaging) guidance and report templates in our reporting.
4ways staff working from home – We have enabled all staff to work from home. A small number of staff will manage the office and teams, adhering to social distancing and hygiene instructions.
We are available to discuss taking on increased demand from existing and new clients across our full range of services; Routine, Day Time Urgent (DTU), Night Time Urgent (NTU) and Specialties. Given the current situation the significance of Day Time Urgent and Scans reported within 4 Hours has gone up even more and we remain well positioned to support our Clients with these.
We believe our current model is robust and is already a core part of clients’ Radiology Business Continuity Plans as is supporting the NHS where it needs it the most.
