Mirada XD™ is the software of choice for 4ways Diagnostics Nuclear Medicine reporting service
Mirada Medical Ltd is pleased to announce that 4ways Diagnostics, a leading tele-radiology company in the UK, has chosen Mirada XD™ software to support their Nuclear Medicine (NM) reporting service. 4ways are one of the UK’s leading remote radiology reporting service providers, delivering routine and out of hours reporting for many NHS Trusts and private diagnostic centres.
Mirada specialises in advanced vendor-neutral software for Molecular Imaging and Nuclear Medicine, deployed across an enterprise or integrated with PACS. The Mirada XD™ package facilitates the reading of general NM, SPECT/CT and PET/CT, providing advanced, flexible protocols and configurable NM workflows that deliver quick and easy analysis of images. At the same time quantitative results for assessing disease progression can be saved for editing and review.
“We have chosen Mirada because it is a flexible package that provides all the capabilities for reporting NM we need both now, and for the future”, said Ajay Chadha, CEO of 4ways.
4ways launched their specialist NM reporting service in 2008 but in 2016 as a result of technical and clinical advances within the modality and the introduction of hybrid functional and anatomical imaging, they partnered with Mirada to create an enhanced service delivery which includes SPECT-CT and PET-CT reporting services.
“We’re proud to have been selected to support the reporting capabilities of 4ways as they seek to grow their Nuclear Medicine business”, said Dr Sarah Bond, Diagnostics Product Manager of Mirada Medical.
By partnering with Mirada, 4ways can now provide a comprehensive nuclear medicine reporting service to support both regular and ad-hoc reporting requirements and can also be used for double reporting complex scans.
