200,000 clinical audit studies

Clinical audit is an integral part of the service that 4ways provides to healthcare providers in the UK. It underpins everything we do including compliance with industry sector standards and our quality assurance guarantee to you.

4ways has the largest clinical audit data set with over 3,000 studies audited every month. Our audit history dates back to 2005.

We audit the performance of our radiologists work according to their modality and specialism to ensure that a comprehensive selection of competencies and capablilites is audited. We can audit an individual, a whole department, or a whole series of scans.

A percentage of all reporting activity is audited, typically at a rate of 10% for CT and MR and 2% for plain film. We can audit at a different rate if required. We categories the audit findings by using the Department of Health 5 point discrepancy scale. This is provided as part of our standard service to all users of our radiology reporting services.

4ways also provides an independent audit service, auditing in-house activity and radiologists on a regular or ad-hoc basis depending on your requirements. Our commercial and specialist audit services cover MR, CT, PET, plain film, CT colonography, nuclear medicine, neuroradiology, MSK, breast MRI, mammography, cardiology and ultrasound.
