Clinical governance underpins all activities at 4ways. We have an established clinical governance framework and regularly examine our service delivery along with developments within the radiology reporting industry to ensure we are at the forefront of best clinical practice.
robust clinical leadership
At 4ways we pride ourselves on our very strong clinical leadership. Our medical team is headed by very experienced team of consultant radiologists.
engagement and training
4ways has a radiologist engagement and training process in place to ensure the highest standards of reporting and quality.
All radiologists reporting for 4ways undergo a full induction programme including training using the 4ways PACS, RIS and Powerscribe systems, ensuring we have the best trained radiologists in the UK. Our radiologist management team, led by our Medical Director, meet on a weekly basis to review the output of each reporting radiologist.
4ways has invested in a bespoke audit software programme which ensures a defined percentage of each radiologists work is randomly audited. Our audit function and results are highly regarded by our existing clients.
4ways clinical governance and quality procedures have been developed in conjunction with the Imaging Services Accreditation Scheme (ISAS) to ensure the best clinical practice standards are met.
The United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) has been licensed by The Royal College of Radiologists and the College of Radiographers to manage and deliver ISAS.
ISAS is a patient-focussed assessment and accreditation programme that is designed to help diagnostic imaging services ensure that their patients consistently receive high quality services, delivered by competent staff working in safe environments.
ISAS is the only nationally recognised accreditation scheme available for diagnostic imaging services in the UK and provides an essential framework for services to engage with.
"Over the past 5 years we have built up good relationships with 4ways, having regular review meetings where we discuss our future reporting requirements and what our plans are in the future. They have strong Clinical Governance embedded with the Company and we received monthly audit reports."
