We are delighted to celebrate achieving our 9th consecutive Quality Standard for Imaging (QSI) accreditation from the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS). The accreditation covers our reporting activities delivered from our headquarters in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire.
The QSI accreditation (formerly known as Imaging Service Accreditation, ISAS) is the only nationally recognised accreditation scheme offered for diagnostic imaging services in the UK. UKAS is an independent patient-focused assessment that is designed to help diagnostic imaging services ensure that their patients consistently receive high quality services, delivered by competent staff working in safe environments.
UKAS set up the accreditation scheme in 2011 and 4ways was the first of three teleradiology companies to receive the accreditation at the beginning of that year.
Alison MacKay, Head of Quality at 4ways, said: “We are pleased to have been awarded this accreditation for a 9th consecutive year. Our continuous QSI accreditation is demonstrative of the work we do in improving quality and outcomes for patients across the country. This accreditation means that NHS Trusts and other healthcare providers using 4ways’ services can be assured that all of our operational processes and procedures are meeting the highest standards.”
