Services Lead - Radiology Team - Current Vacancies - 4ways Diagnostics

We are currently looking for a Services Lead to join the Radiology team.

The Role

This position is an excellent opportunity for an individual with knowledge of the radiology workflows and service offering. This position will involve engagement with the senior leadership team and key stakeholders on a regular basis to identify areas for growth in existing services and to launch new services yet to be identified. Experience of developing and launching services into the NHS and/or private healthcare providers would be advantageous.

 

Job Purpose

  • To support and/or lead the development of new and existing service lines and ensure viability and effective launch
  • To assist in the day to day management of existing specialist services
  • To support relationships with key clients where needs exist for potential new services
  • To support relationships with vendors and companies offering partnership opportunities.
  • To liaise closely with the radiology management, operations, quality, clinical, IT and business development teams on the continuous improvement in service
  • To support the process of engagement and relationship management of clinical contractors

 

Accountabilities

  • Accountable for delivery of new service launch against agreed timelines
  • Identification of project risks and potential resolutions
  • Detailing development requirements and specifications of new services and ensuring relevant compliance is met
  • Provide regular progress updates to key stakeholders

 

Environment

The post holder will be based at 4ways head office (Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire) and expected to travel for meetings across the UK and potentially the occasional opportunity overseas.

 

Compensation

  • Basic salary, dependent on experience
  • Mileage allowance
  • Company pension scheme
  • 25 days annual leave per year plus statutory days

 

Qualification, Training & Experience

 

Qualifications

Essential:

  • Radiographer or relevant clinical/professional qualification or equivalent work experience

 

Desirable:

  • Degree equivalent management qualification

 

Experience

Essential:

  • Knowledge of hospital working and diagnostic imaging
  • Awareness and understanding of current DH/NHS policies and initiatives

 

Desirable:

  • Experience of working with private healthcare providers

 

Knowledge/Skills

Essential:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • High levels of computer literacy

 

Desirable:

  • Demonstrable skills in project management and effective delivery
